There is nothing worthy of worship, except Allah, and Mohammed is his Servant and Messenger (Peace and Blessings be upon him).
Kettering New Muslims is a newly created group, which aims to offer a support network to those new to Islam and who are interested in exploring the faith. The aim of KNM is to spread the message of Islam through Dawah activities, and to offer advice to those who have just reverted to Islam. We aim to also offer an opportunity to meet fellow Muslim Reverts, share experiences, and offer a cure to the isolation many Muslims Reverts feel.
The Muslim Community is a growing one, it is estimated that there is around 400 Muslims living in and around the Kettering District. Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth, and I'm always meeting New Muslims wherever I go, this includes Kettering - Alhamdullilah (All Praise due to Allah - God).
It is an obligation on every Muslim to spread the message of Islam, as it is The Haqq (truth), sent from Allah. Allah Says:
"Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most Gracious". Quran (16-125)
Alhamdullilah, we have Muslim volunteers (male and female), on hand to offer advice on religious duties (Wudu, Prayer Dress Code, etc). Insha'Allah (God Willing), we aim to organise social and religious gatherings, to spread Unity and increase the bond of brother and sisterhood. The Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings upon him) said:
"A believer is like a brick for another believer, the one supporting the other". (Sahih Muslim)
